|
|
I'm looking for a windows software for Face-recognition. I have several celebrity fotos whitout further information.
Does anyone know a service or software where I could open/upload such a picture and then get the information about the person or even the location where the picture was taken? |

I so hope Google buys out TinEye and then adds every single image to their index. It's so frustrating to get no matches to your search when you just know you've seen a HQ somewhere before! _________________ KG |

In terms of the 'reverse image search,' I think TinEye is unique. Your next best bet may be to upload the pics to the Requests forum here. _________________ KG |

| Maybe their whole plan is to be bought by Google. Maybe the software does absolutely nothing, except look like it probably does something that Google would want to buy. |

I think Google Picasa does this already.

Unfortunately, Picasa 'only' groups people after you identify them first. What invisibleman78 would like is for software to help track down who a celebrity is, a task for which TinEye is a natural match. Such a shame their index didn't have the images present already. _________________ KG |
